We know that accessibility is important to our customers, so we’ve taken measures to ensure that our hotel, and the Pig & Whistle bar and restaurant, can be enjoyed by everyone.

The Pig & Whistle bar and restaurant, and hotel, are wheelchair-friendly, with ramps or step-free access at all entrances. Throughout the ground floor we have level floors, including in our restaurant and function rooms, and you’ll also find accessible toilets in all public areas. Our car park has dedicated parking bays, and our terraces and grounds have step-free access.

For guests visiting us for overnight stays, our courtyard area features accessible bedrooms, with ground floor and direct outdoor access. As well as being spacious, they boast fully-equipped bathrooms, too.

Our reception team are happy to help you have the best possible stay so please let us know your individual requirements when booking your room.

Our approach to accessibility and inclusivity doesn’t stop there though, and we are keen to create a friendly, supportive environment for all of our staff and their unique needs. We employ an inclusive approach and actively encourage job applications from candidates from all backgrounds and with all needs. For example, please meet Harriet, who has found in Healing Manor Hotel an environment in which she can develop her skills.

Our HR department is trained in employee support, and conduct regular reviews and job assessments, as well as mental wellbeing check-ins. Our ethos is a happy and healthy environment for our staff to work and thrive in, so we make sure we recognise our successes as a team too, with regular team building days and celebratory dinners.

Like many other businesses, we are deeply concerned by current events in the Ukraine, and have created four jobs for refugees looking for work in the local area.
