The Great British Seaside Afternoon Tea at Healing Manor is a luxurious and nostalgic treat to be enjoyed by all.

The tradition of Afternoon Tea dates back to 1840 when Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford would become hungry at around four o’clock in the afternoon. Evening meals were served fashionably late in the 1800’s leaving a long gap between lunch and dinner, so Anna would often enjoy a cup of tea and slice of cake. Friends were invited to join her and word spread until it become highly popular and fashionable in society – and so it continues today.

The Great British Seaside Afternoon Tea at Healing Manor Hotel will be a mix of delicious savory and sweet treats designed by Steven Bennett and his team of chefs inspired by seaside classics.

Savouries include miniature fish and chips, mushy pea soup, a Lincolnshire sausage dog and a selection of sandwiches;

Cheese & Ham

Egg Mayonnaise

Sweets are a delicious combination of traditional flavours inspired by desserts and flavours from holidays by the seaside.
