Packed full of delicious dog friendly ingredients, each of our dishes are handmade in-house by our team of talented chefs. Individually made and prepared to order, your beloved pooches are in for a delicious and nutritious meal.
New to the dog friendly winter menu is our Peanut Butter Cupcake. Made from banana, 100% peanut butter, honey, egg, oats and wholewheat flour and topped with a frozen yoghurt and peanut butter frosting!
To make our delicious doggy peanut butter cupcakes, follow this simple recipe…
1 ripe banana
80g peanut butter (100% peanuts)
40g rice flour
45g rolled oats
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pre heat your oven to 180ºc and line a muffin tin with 6 paper cases.
Mash together the banana, honey and egg and stir until smooth. Add the peanut butter, beating to form a smooth paste. Gradually add in the flour, oats and baking powder, mixing until fully combined. Add the water and mix well. Leave the mixture in the bowl for 15-20 minutes stirring every few minutes.
Spoon the mixture between 6 cupcake cases and bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes. Insert a wooden skewer to check if it’s cooked, only when it comes out clean, remove the cupcakes from the oven.
These dense pup-friendly cakes can be stored in an airtight container for 20 days, or freeze and serve when required.
To decorate, mix together a small pot of frozen natural organic yoghurt with 2 tsp peanut butter. Spread a generous amount onto each cake and top with a doggy bone for decoration.
