Ashleigh and Ollie tied the knot on a gloriously warm August day surrounded by family, friends, and the enchanting backdrop of Healing Manor.

From the first look to the final dance, their day was full of love, laughter, and heartfelt surprises.
“Wow – where do we even start?! Our wedding day at Healing Manor was everything we could have hoped for and more. The venue is just absolutely stunning – from the beautiful grounds to the cosy charm inside – it felt like something out of a fairytale (but better, because it was ours!)”

The Morning Preparations
The day began in a buzz of excitement as Ashleigh was pampered by Lauren Aisthorpe, who styled both her hair and makeup to perfection. Her soft glam look beautifully complemented her intricate lace gown – a stunning design with layers of tulle and delicate floral appliqué.

The bridal bouquet, lovingly crafted by Ashleigh’s aunt Helen, was a romantic blend of natural greenery and soft pastel blooms – the perfect match for the summer setting.

The Photographer
Throughout the day, Danny Inwood Photography captured every special detail – from quiet, emotional moments to joyful laughter. His relaxed and natural style perfectly reflected the warmth and happiness of the celebration, telling the story of Ashleigh and Ollie’s wedding beautifully from start to finish.

The Ceremony
With the venue’s picturesque grounds setting the scene, Ashleigh and Ollie exchanged vows in front of their loved ones. As they walked hand in hand back down the aisle, DJ Sammy’s ‘Heaven (Candlelight Remix)‘ filled the air – a beautiful, emotional moment that had everyone smiling.

“All of our guests were blown away and kept saying how gorgeous the place was – and honestly, we couldn’t stop smiling all day.”

The Celebration
After the ceremony, guests were treated to delicious canapés featuring mini Fish & Chips, Beef Burgers with cheese and pickles, and Chicken Tacos with guacamole and coriander – a playful and flavourful start to the afternoon.

The summer wedding breakfast was served in the Barn, and featured a mouth-watering menu of Smoked Salmon Salad and Chicken Liver Pâté to start, followed by hearty mains of Duo of Beef or Chicken Breast with braised leg and corn risotto, with a Mushroom Stroganoff option for vegetarians.
Dessert was a choice between Apple & Berry Flapjack Crumble and Vanilla & Raspberry Cheesecake – both beautifully presented and utterly delicious. Ashleigh and Ollie sat at their own sweetheart table, framed perfectly by the florals.

The tables were elegantly styled by Elegance by Laura Elizabeth, with coloured napkins and sashes adding a touch of personality and warmth to the Manor’s classic charm. The wedding cake, a masterpiece baked and decorated by Ashleigh’s aunt Steph, was a true labour of love and a stunning centrepiece.

Surprises & Entertainment
Guests enjoyed outdoor games arranged by the couple, which brought laughter and friendly competition to the afternoon. But one of the day’s biggest surprises came from the mother of the bride, who secretly organised a performance by Silver Service Singers. Their unexpected burst into song had everyone on their feet and added an unforgettable moment of pure joy to the celebrations.

The Evening & First Dance
As the sun set over the beautiful grounds of Healing Manor, Ashleigh and Ollie shared their first dance to Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect‘. It was a magical moment, surrounded by the love and cheers of family and friends.
“A HUGE shoutout to the amazing staff who were just the best – so friendly, organised, and genuinely lovely people. You made everything run so smoothly and nothing was ever too much trouble, even the secret singing waiters got involved.”

Happily Ever After
The couple’s day was a reflection of who they are – warm, fun, and filled with love. Every detail, from the family-made florals to the heartfelt speeches, came together to create a celebration that felt beautifully personal.
“Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for letting us celebrate such a special day at Healing Manor as it was a day we will cherish forever. We wish we could do it all over again – can we do it again please?”

Congratulations, Ashleigh and Ollie – your wedding was an absolute dream, and we’re so grateful you chose to begin your happily ever after with us here at Healing Manor.
