Some weddings have a timeless charm, and Sarah and Chris’s day at Healing Manor was a perfect example. As a well-loved Lincolnshire wedding venue, we take pride in hosting special moments, and their wedding was a wonderful occasion.
Sarah walked down the aisle of our wedding barn to Train’s ‘Marry Me’, setting a warm and heartfelt tone. After exchanging their vows in an intimate ceremony, the couple stepped outside to capture photographs in our extensive gardens and grounds, taken by James Green Studio with videography by Know Film.
Sarah wore an elegant gown with a simple bouquet of colourful roses and greenery, while Chris looked the part for a classic Lincolnshire wedding in his tuxedo.
After enjoying canapés outside, guests returned to the wedding barn, beautifully styled by Jack Loves Jill, for the wedding breakfast.
The wedding menu featured seasonal dishes from The Pig & Whistle kitchens, including starters of Chicken Liver and Bacon Pâté with apple and vanilla chutney on brioche, or Bruschetta with Herb-Crusted Mozzarella, beetroot, and rocket pesto. Mains included Topside of Beef with creamed and roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables, or a Onion and Goat’s Cheese Tart with courgette, broad beans, and baby spinach. Dessert choices were Strawberry, White Chocolate, and Elderflower Pavlova or Sticky Toffee Pudding with butterscotch sauce and custard.
Following heartfelt speeches, Sarah and Chris cut their incredible cheesecake from Lincoln Cheesecakes before sharing their first dance to ‘Perfect’ by Boyce Avenue. The evening continued with music, an inflatable soft play hockey area, and a photo booth. Later, guests enjoyed stone-baked pizzas and drinks before heading home or to their rooms at our beautiful wedding venue in Lincolnshire.
