On the 19th of September 2025, the grounds of Healing Manor came alive with love, laughter, and the joyful celebration of Kat and Angus’s romantic wedding day.
Their day was full of thoughtful personal touches, beautiful styling, and a relaxed atmosphere that perfectly reflected the couple’s personalities.
The morning was filled with excitement and calm preparations. Kat looked absolutely radiant, with her hair styled effortlessly by Perfect Silhouette Hairdressing’s Robyn and her flawless makeup created by Lauren from LC Makeup Artistry. Her elegant gown, paired with a soft, romantic bouquet from Enchanted Garden, set the tone for the day’s dreamy aesthetic.
As guests gathered, the atmosphere was filled with anticipation. The ceremony itself was made even more magical with live music from The Northern String Quartet Company, creating an enchanting soundtrack as Kat and Angus said their vows.
Following the ceremony, friends and family showered the newlyweds with confetti under the September sunshine – a moment beautifully captured by photographer James Williams Photography. Their day was documented not just in stills, but also in film, lovingly shot by Kat and Angus themselves, adding an incredibly personal touch to their wedding story.
Guests enjoyed a selection of canapés, including mini fish & chips, belly pork bites, and baked sourdough halloumi, before sitting down to a feast prepared by the Healing Manor team.
Starters included a refreshing tomato & mozzarella salad, a rich chicken liver pâté with onion chutney, or a vibrant crispy duck salad. For mains, guests were treated to hearty plates of roast chicken with all the trimmings, a duo of beef served with dauphinoise and roasted potatoes, or a fragrant Thai vegetable curry. Dessert rounded things off sweetly, with options ranging from indulgent triple chocolate brownie with honeycomb to vanilla & raspberry cheesecake, or even a vegan chocolate cake.
The venue was styled to perfection with twinkling lights and elegant chair sashes provided by HappieCakies Venue Styling, while the couple’s wedding cake – a stunning labour of love – was baked and decorated by Angus’s mum, adding a personal family touch that made the day even more special.
As the evening unfolded, laughter echoed from the photobooth by A Booth & Beyond, with guests capturing playful moments to treasure forever. The couple also had a phone guest book by HappieCakies, ensuring that heartfelt messages and funny anecdotes from their loved ones were saved as memories they’ll cherish for years to come.
