We were delighted to host Keri and Nathan’s special day at our stunning Lincolnshire wedding venue. As the winners of our 2021 ‘win a wedding’ competition, their celebration was nothing short of magical. From heartfelt moments to joyful celebrations, their wedding at Healing Manor Hotel was a true reflection of love and happiness.
A Beautiful Setting for a Perfect Day
With the help of Jack Loves Jill, our wedding barn was tastefully decorated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The airy space, adorned with soft drapes and elegant floral arrangements, provided the perfect setting for Keri and Nathan to say their vows.
Keri looked radiant as she walked down the aisle in a breathtaking gown featuring an ornate bodice and flowing skirt. She carried a stunning bouquet of pale and dark pink roses, complemented by lush greenery, expertly crafted by Treasured Bouquets. Her bridesmaids looked equally beautiful in stand-out pink dresses, perfectly matching the romantic theme of the day.
A Heartfelt Ceremony and Stunning Photography
As Keri and Nathan exchanged their vows, their love for each other was clear for all to see. The ceremony was filled with touching moments, with friends and family sharing in the couple’s joy. Elizabeth Rose Photographer and Pocket Jack Films were on hand to capture every precious moment, ensuring memories from this special day would last a lifetime.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés in the picturesque grounds of our Lincolnshire wedding venue. The delicious selection included baked sourdough with halloumi, carpaccio of Lincolnshire Red with crème fraîche, parmesan shavings, and truffle oil, as well as miniature fish and chips with pea purée – always a firm favourite among our wedding guests.
A Feast to Remember
As guests took their seats in the Barn, they were treated to a delicious three-course meal. The menu featured a starter of cream of cauliflower soup, followed by a choice of topside of beef or spring green risotto for the main course. To round off the meal, guests enjoyed either rhubarb and custard posset with lavender shortbread or a rich dark and white chocolate brownie with cherry cream.
With full hearts and happy stomachs, guests laughed and cried along to heartfelt speeches from the father of the bride, the groom, and the best man. Raising a glass of Prosecco, they toasted to the happiness of the newlyweds.
An Evening of Celebration
As the evening guests arrived, sparklers were lit to celebrate the happy couple, creating a magical atmosphere. Keri and Nathan then cut their stunning wedding cake, designed by Kimmies Cakes. The elegant pale pink creation was adorned with delicate flowers matching the wedding party, making for a truly picture-perfect moment.
For their first dance as husband and wife, Keri and Nathan chose ‘In Case You Didn’t Know’ by Brett Young and Una Healy. As the music played, they were soon joined by friends and family on the dance floor, where they celebrated late into the night. With blankets and slipper socks for those wanting to relax and a delicious evening buffet for those with an appetite, the night was filled with warmth and joy.
