It was our pleasure to host the beautifully intimate wedding of Mike and Emily. Our picturesque wedding barn and grounds were the perfect setting for their woodland themed celebration, chosen to honour their forest engagement.
Emily glided down the aisle to ‘Can’t help falling in love’ clutching a stunning bouquet by Treasured Bouquet, and surrounded by all of her guests adorning their matching button holes. Her whimsical cape made for a real ‘wow’ moment as she made her way up to the altar. Her hair was styled into an elegant updo by Kerry Elvin, showcasing the beautiful details on the back of her gown perfectly. As their family and friends looked on in awe, the couple exchanged their vows, framed by the romantic flower backdrop and under the bright lights of the ‘it was always you’ sign.
After the ceremony, the happy couple and their guests made their way outside, and Elizabeth Rose Photographer continued to snap away, capturing all of the special moments. You can see how much Mike and Emily were enjoying exploring the grounds as they posed for those all important pictures. They even had a few little visitors throughout the day!
The venue decor was carefully curated by Amy from Jack Loves Jill, with subtle, tasteful nods to their woodland theme. The romantically dressed table was filled with beautiful flowers, candles and log slices. The welcoming and warm environment fit perfectly with the couple’s wish of spending quality time and making memories with their closest family and friends.
