We were so lucky to host Sophie and Elliot’s wedding ceremony and party in our wedding barn. The barn, which dates from the 1700s and was lovingly restored in 2014, was the perfect backdrop for their special day.

The bride, and her nearest and dearest, got ready together in our beautiful bridal suite, toasting the big day with lots of laughter and a glass in fizz or two. Sophie looked stunning in her white dress with delicate lace detailing, and an elegant veil,  while her bridesmaids dazzled in pale, dusky pink.

As the sun shone down on the happy couple and their guests in the idyllic 36 acres of landscaped gardens, Pears Photography captured special moments to be remembered forever. From the pre-wedding excitement, the elegant family shots, to the late night, slightly tipsy dancing, these were the moments nobody wanted to forget.

The barn was styled simply but stylishly, with a bohemian vibe created by Happycakies, accented by white drapes and pastel pink and cream roses. The floral decorations from the wonderful mind and talent of Seaholly Floral Design matched the bouquets carried by Sophie and her bridesmaids, the buttonholes worn by groom Elliot, and the other members of the bridal party.

The simple floral décor was continued on the delicious-looking wedding cake – a naked sponge, made by Happycakies. The day was filled with laughter and happiness, and it was a joy to see it all come together and watch everyone celebrate Sophie and Elliot’s wedding. We wish the lovely couple all the happiness in the world, and we feel so lucky to have been part of their special day.
