The Booths’ celebrated their daughter Darcie Beau Booth’s 1st with a barn birthday party, here at Healing Manor Hotel.
With over 400 balloons adorning doorways and archways, gold sprayed animals, canapés galore and glitter stations, Darcie’s barn birthday party is one for the Pinterest board!
As guests arrived for Darcie’s barn birthday party, they were greeted with personalised cocktails served from the bar, bubble machines and a huge bouncy castle which took over the main part of the barn.
Aptly named after Darcie, guests were offered a selection of bespoke cocktails including;
Darcie Strawberry Daiquiri
One Star Martini (aka a Pornstar Martini)
The Wild One (aka a herbaceous G&T)
Whilst parents enjoyed drinks, children played on the bouncy castle and miniature bikes in the courtyard and in the main barn. Guests had their faces painted with glitter, by the Mermaid Cavern Glitter Bar, Grimsby. With a glitter menu fit for any princess, unicorn or mermaid fan, guests were treated to a choice of face or hair glitter and an abundance of face gems.
Guests were served food throughout the afternoon. Children had their own buffet station with; chip cones, stone baked pizza, hummus & vegetable cups, crisps, chicken goujoins, sausage rolls & sandwiches.
Adults were served canapés which included; Lincolnshire Red steak burgers with caramelised onion, cheese and tomato, potatoes with chorizo and salsa, halloumi and grilled vegetable skewers and miniature fish and chips, served in scallop shells with tartar sauce, mushy peas and wedges of lemon.

Clarke Bakery who have just opened up the most incredible shop in Grimsby Town centre, provided donuts, cupcakes and a giant celebration birthday cake for Darcie. The 4 tier high cake was a deliciously sweet combination of vanilla sponge and buttercream. Donuts were decorated with pink chocolate, and cakes were topped with gold spray-painted animals.
The cake was displayed against a green leaf backdrop, which was decorated with pink and glitter confetti balloons. Chocolate cake-pops, kinder hippo’s and Cadbury animal biscuits were dotted between the cakes and buffet table, so children could help themselves.
