Here at Healing Manor, winter weddings hold a very special place in our hearts and the beautiful celebration of Jessica and Joseph, who married on 6 December 2025, was the perfect example of festive elegance done effortlessly.

A Festive Winter Celebration
From the moment guests arrived, it was clear Jessica and Joseph had created the warm, magical atmosphere they had dreamed of. As Jessica shared:
“We chose greens, golds and whites. We wanted a festive winter wedding.”

Subtle Christmas styling ran throughout the winter wedding day, from softly lit trees and seasonal foliage to glowing candlelight that perfectly complemented the characterful brickwork in Healing Manor’s historic Wedding Barn. The décor felt refined and ethereal, with festive touches woven delicately into a timeless wedding aesthetic.

The couple entrusted their styling to Amy of Jack Loves Jill, and the results were nothing short of stunning. Jessica told us:
“Jack Loves Jill styled our festive wedding and she did a fabulous job, it took so much pressure off us as we didn’t need to worry about a thing and the venue looked beautiful. We had so many compliments from our wedding guests.”

Elegant Winter Attire
Jessica looked radiant in her long-sleeved lace wedding dress, a perfect choice for a December ceremony, while Joseph cut a classic figure in a black dinner suit. The bridal party completed the look beautifully, with emerald green bridesmaids’ dresses tying in seamlessly with the winter colour palette.

Capturing the Magic
Every heartfelt moment was captured by Holly Bryan Photography, whose relaxed and joyful approach helped everyone feel at ease:
“Holly Bryan and her team partner were so lovely and funny: they made the day so special for us and our guests and were so good with the kids. I’d 100% recommend them to any future bride and grooms for their big day.”

The resulting images perfectly reflect the joy, laughter and genuine emotion of the day.
A Calm and Joyful Morning
The wedding morning was a calm and happy affair thanks to Emma and Leah from Tiger Eye Studio, who took care of hair and makeup:
“Hair Stylist Emma from Tiger Eye and Makeup artist Leah from tiger eye were so lovely and chatty from the moment they walked in. They make the morning a relaxing experience for both the bride and bridesmaids.”

Florals by Sarah Richards Bridal Florals completed the look, with bouquets, buttonholes and flower girl crowns delivered straight to the door that morning:
“Florist Sarah Richards Bridal Florals did an amazing job on our bouquets, buttonholes and flower girl crowns and delivered them right to our door in the morning as requested.”

Delicious Seasonal Dining
Guests were treated to a wonderfully festive menu, starting with Roasted Tomato Soup with herbs or Prawn Cocktail with lemon and wholemeal bread. For the main course, couples chose between Roast Turkey with stuffing, gravy, roasted and mashed potatoes, carrots and greens, or Beef Stroganoff with seasonal greens and rice.
Desserts were equally indulgent, with options including Apple & Berry Flapjack Crumble with custard, Caramel Tart with banana mascarpone cream and peanut brittle, or Chocolate Brownies. Evening celebrations continued with a buffet and, of course, wedding cake.

The cake itself was a showstopper, created by Just Cakes.
“Just Cakes made us our lovely Christmas cake made up of three layers: Chocolate, Vanilla and Red Velvet . The cake was so tasty and soft and was even nice almost a week later with what we had left over.”
Music, Moments & Memories
Jessica and Joseph walked out of their ceremony to the joyful sounds of ‘Best Day of My Life’ by American Authors, setting the tone for the celebrations ahead. Their first dance, to ‘The Heart Never Lies’ by McFly, was a truly emotional highlight.

When asked about their favourite part of the day, Jessica summed it up beautifully:
“I don’t think I can choose one particular moment of the day as the whole day was so special. All the staff at Healing Manor made the day so memorable and special and it ran so smoothly.”

Words of Wisdom for Future Couples
Jessica and Joseph’s advice for couples planning their own Healing Manor wedding is heartfelt and reassuring:
“Just trust the staff, they all know what they’re doing and they want the day to be as special as you do. They meet up with you on a regular basis and make sure they’re always up to date with your new plans and ideas and run it all over with you.“
“Enjoy your day and don’t worry about a thing, you’ve done all the planning now it’s your time to leave it down to your wedding events team to make the day special for you.”

A Perfect Winter Wedding
Jessica and Joseph’s December wedding was the perfect blend of festive charm, elegance and heartfelt moments. We were honoured to be part of such a special day and wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
