With a magical backdrop of enchanting decorations, let the Manor and Barn be the backdrop for your Christmas 2023 memories. Launching on Friday 10 November, our Christmas Afternoon Tea offers a feast of festive flavours. Think gingerbread, mulled fruits, warming spices and decadent desserts. For £28 per adult, to include a glass of sparkly, and £17 for under 14s, sit down in our beautifully-decorated Restaurant and celebrate with friends, family and loved ones. You can enjoy our Christmas Afternoon Tea every Friday and Saturday, 12pm – 3pm, throughout November, and we’ll be serving on Thursdays through December, too. Want to enjoy as part of a larger party? Our Afternoon Tea is available for groups of ten or more, Monday to Thursday, with pre-booking essential. As a special treat this year, you can book Christmas Afternoon Tea for Christmas Eve itself – what better way to relax before the business of Christmas Day itself and take the stress out of catering for your family and friends? If you fancy something more traditional the night before Christmas, we’ll be serving our winter bar and à la carte menus in Bar and Restaurant. Table bookings are essential, via email or phone.
Indulge in the best seasonal food that the Lincolnshire coastline and countryside have to offer with our Festive Specials Set Menus. Designed by Steven Bennett, aka The Lincolnshire Chef, and available from Monday to Saturday from 16 November, visit at lunch time to enjoy an incredible two or three course offer (no minimum table number), or book for 10+ in the evening. We are delighted to welcome Abigail of Seaholly Floral Design back to the Barn for her sell-out Christmas Wreath Workshops. As well as her expert tuition, beautiful and seasonal foliage, florals and decorations, you can expect a festive cocktail, a delicious grazing table and lots of festive joy.
For more Christmas crafts, you will love the Original Emporium’s Christmas Maker’s Market. With the best makers and crafters from Grimsby, Cleethorpes and beyond, spend an afternoon in the Barn and browse and buy their fantastic makes. It’s the ideal place to pick up a Christmas gift or two, with food and drink stalls, and drinks available in our Bar, too.
If you’re looking for something truly special and intimate, why not choose to dine in our private room The Cure All, with FREE private hire this Christmas season? We know that Christmas offers friends and family a chance to get together and have a fantastic catch-up, and our private dining room is the perfect space in which to do so. As with the rest of the Manor, it will be decorated to exceed your expectations, and is available for groups of between 8 and 12 guests. You can enjoy Afternoon Tea, Festive Set Menus, our seasonal bar and à la carte menus or something of your own choosing. Just contact our Events team to discuss your booking.
Got a bigger party to look after? The Cadogan Suite, located in the Manor with its own private terrace, offers a gorgeous, light-filled space to celebrate. Book for between thirty and sixty guests and enjoy FREE room hire. The Cadogan is also available for private parties, with packages available from £35 per person to include a festive, three course meal, room hire and a DJ and dancing. Sales and Events Manager Hannah will be happy to help.
The festivities don’t stop at Christmas 2023… The Hotel and Pig & Whistle bar and restaurant are closed on Boxing Day to give our staff a well-deserved rest, then we’re open between Christmas and New Year. Talking of New Year, why not see in 2024 in style with dinner at ours? Dress up for an elegant night of celebrations and select the eight-course ‘Farm and Sea’ Tasting Menu, created by Steven Bennett and served in the Restaurant. For something more informal, book a table in the Bar. You can choose from our bar and à la carte menus, with disco and dancing from 9pm. The Cadogan Suite is also available for a large private party, and The Cure All is perfect for smaller, intimate dining of eight to twelve guests.
Finally, Christmas presents! For the person who has everything, or someone who really deserves a treat, a Gift Voucher for Healing Manor Hotel is a wonderful option. Available for any amount from £10+, our Gift Vouchers are valid for overnight stays at Healing Manor, and food and drink in The Pig & Whistle.
